Last weekend, Clara and I needed to make a quick trip to Chicago to visit the Spanish embassy for an upcoming trip. While we were there, we got in a little sightseeing as well as a little photography.
Close to the hotel was Millennium Park, and it just happens to be where Cloud Gate lives.
The Cloud Gate sculpture also known as “the Bean”, is one of the top things to see in Chicago. The Bean is a large public sculpture that was unveiled at the opening of Millennium Park in 2004. It now serves as a famous symbol of Chicago and is one of the city’s most photographed attractions.
While we were in the park, the day was cool, gray and overcast. As we walked around “The Bean”, the gray sky started to give way to a few spots of blue sky and the sun began peaking out. The perfect chance to take the frame.
