Owensboro Wins Fouth

The Owensboro Pirates made it four in a row when they defeated the Lexington Giants 3 to 2 here today. The Pirates started their win series Saturday night after losing seven straight.

While the Giants outhit the Pirates 10 to 8, the fielding of the Owensborians was too much for the Tennesseans. Rounding curves of Durheim, Pirate hurler who went the route of the game, and the accurate throws of fielders, showed their effect.

In scoring their runs Lexington took advantage of two errors in the third hits inning and bunched three in the eighth. Owensboro scored on a home run by Clemens scored in the third, who also scored in the first, and Wilson, who tallied in the fourth inning.
