Mayfield Is Rained Out
The Owensboro Pirates and the Mayfield Clothiers, after playing the third game of their three game series here this afternoon, were rained out in the last half of the second inning. The score stood 2 to 0 with Owensboro in lead. Sweetland was on the mound for Owensboro with Wise catching and Edney hurled for Mayfield and Neisler received.
Owensboro scored its runs in the first inning when Manager Wise tripled and Gregory followed with a home run.
