Before a record-breaking “Glenmore Distillery Day” crowd, the Owensboro Pirates today dropped a 9 to 3 decision to Fulton and evened the two game series. Smith went the route for the victors and was never in any danger, allowing only seven hits, three of which were bunched in the eighth when the Bucs tallied their trio of runs.

Durheim was knocked from the box by the Eagles in the sixth after he had been tapped for 11 hits.
