Hopkinsville’s Hoppers won their second game in as many days by defeating the Owensboro Pirates 6 to 4 today with the aid of a four-run rally in the eighth inning. A pinch single by Lambert Hopper first baseman featured the uprising.

The visitors outhit Hopkinsville but Joiner, on the mound for the Hoppers, was exceptionally strong in the pinches.
