Union City pressed on in her winning streak here today to upset the Owensboro Pirates in both sets of a double bill, 14 to 2 and 7 to 4.

In the first Rip Schroeder went the router for the Hounds, finding the locals easy pickings. Schroeder smashed out a homer as did Dantic for the Bucs.

In the second game Irvin was doing a nice hill job for the invaders when the Pirates threatened with a three-run rally in the eighth. He was jerked and Schroeder went back to the mound. Irvin got a homer while he was in the game. Shewey got four for five.
