Led by “Red” Johnson, who connected for a double and 3 singles, the Owensboro Pirates slugged their way to a 13 to 6 victory over the Fulton Eagles here this afternoon.

Old Kid Elberfeld, 61-year-old Fulton manager, entered the game as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning and received a tremendous cheer. He rolled out, third base to first. Ray Clonts, Fulton catcher, was ejected from the park.

Gregory, Veazy and H. Wilson of Owensboro and Clyde Batts of Fulton made 3 hits each.
